Google Apps is a service from Google that allows you to use a domain name with several Google products. Google Apps allows you to use your domain to offer you and your users an email account with Gmail features. For example if you own a domain mydomain.com you can offer emails to anybody based on that domain like mike@mydomain.com In addition to the your custom Gmail account all users get other Google applications like Google Calendar, Talk, Page Creator, and Docs & Spreadsheets.
